DAY 9: JESUS IS THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE
There are several ideas that I gleaned over the course of my life that help to teach little ones about the resurrection. Planting of a seed can show children...over a course of days about Jesus being the resurrection. Popping the popcorn seeds and turning these into popcorn chains or making an ornament like the one shown here for are fun ideas too. Another cool thing is to do Resurrection cookies. This advent season, lets remember that Jesus was sent to be our resurrection so that we might have life. And Jesus himself proclaimed this to the ones that had been taught that they were truly the least deserving of anything.
John 11:25-27
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?” She said to him, “Yes, Lord; I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who is coming into the world.”
